I found someone parting out an EV on craigslist, it was like $40 for the seat. I did trim the bracket like it showed in the Samba thread http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=338291&highlight=eurovan+seat . I was only able to get the passenger seat from the EV (the drivers side was jammed and the parts van was really close to a fence on that side). I trimmed the bracket and put it in the Vanagon passenger position and it's great! The seat still swivels like it's supposed to being able to recline the seat way back is a very nice touch. I've already taken a nap in it on a trip home up I-5 through Oregon <g>.

I put the '84 pass seat in the drivers position and tossed the old drivers seat...

Rob becida@comcast.net I still have the old '84 drivers seat in the garage, anyone want it? I travel to Lacey WA every afternoon 5 days a week... let me know.
