Subject: Making engine LOOK good
Content-type: text/plain; CHARSET=US-ASCII

Greetings from the deep south of Florida. At the risk of starting a hate war - it is still 74 here after dark - lovely day - come on over anytime.

Need your advice again, on how I make my "new" (old) engine look really good. I have sprayed lots of "Purple Power" degreaser on it and scrubbed lots of oils and various filth from the engine but there are still areas of junk around.

I suppose a tooth-brush would help get into those little corners but I see photos of rebuilt engines with lots of peripherals painted different colors. I know if I remove these bits and have them sand blasted - they would look nice with a fresh coat of heat-proof paint but are there any re-finish/paint boffins out there who have any suggestions please.

Stay warm. Peter M Naples FL
