Thanks David! I also found recently that if you have a broken spot in your instrument cluster foil you can repair it with the rear window defogger repair paint that you can get at most FLAPS. Just scrape away at the plastic on either end of the bad spot until you can see shiny metal. Then tape off and paint a new line connecting the burnt or broken circuit trace. Allow to dry and you should be good to go.
