That may be, but it worked until just recently and that LED was never touched; only the high-beam LED was replaced in July and the turn signal indicator was working before and after.  Guess I'll tweak that and see if it remedies the situation.  Thanks for the input.   Stephen

Well, it looks like someone inserted the led for the turn signal indicator backwards in the cluster led socket.
