If necessary other similar light assemblies can be adapted to the grille. If you recall the existing grille does not allow adjustment of the lights vertically. Essential for proper foglight operation unfortunately. You could sell the other light assembly for bigbux to someone and modify your grilles to accept a different lamp. There is a material available that can be used to shield the lenses, before the cracking of course. I will not withstand greater than a 65w lamp though as it insulates the lens somewhat causing overheating and eventual cracking.

Many of these assemblies can be found at parts or accessory stores.

One of our esteemed vanagon pilotes was at one time planning to reproduce the grilles. Lost in the fog, I remain,
