I'm sure the OP would notice this before too late but..... An engine I "saved" had a failed fuel regulator diaphragm AND a totally burned injector. The owner thought it was seized but in fact it was hydro locked due to a crankcase FULL of fuel and oil. Though a likely different scenario, is it possible your FI's could be leaking fuel after shut down? If so, keep a vigilant eye on the oil level. Neil.
