That's good news. The fine print would rule that out for me:

My Vanagon needs to be able to do "All of the above". I dunno about MD
but I do know some VW owners in VA who have been hassled when heading to
or from a campout in their "Historic Vehicle" plated buses... Sure, they
can beat it in court but it's still annoying to have to deal with it.
