I was in same boat a year ago, used a tiny harbor freight pipe wrench, you know the plumbers type. I'm assuming you do not intend to reuse sensor.

I had tried pb blaster, wax, sockets, box wrench, vice grips, etc. The pipe wrench worked like a charm. Found out about it in the archives
