I have had pretty good results with EZ-outs and drills. One thing I do it drive the EZ-out into the hole I have drilled before I try to back it out...that seems to get the reverse threads really locked into the broken bolt. I use a big hammer and a drift to rap on the ezout before I put the wrench to it..when surrounding elements permit.
