I've found too that the cheap crap blue stuff thats .99 cents a gallon will freeze, despite what the label says. It won't freeze in the tank, but it will freeze in the lines to the wipers. The last few years I've used the Rain-X windshield solution.

Neil the "bad" car owner, left a mostly water mix in the wiper fluid tank of his Honda. Yah. It froze. You really miss that feature when it's not working!

Inadvertently parked in an underground lot today which solved the problem. Much warmer there.

So if you left water in your Vanagon wiper washer tank.......
