No, I shortened the pipes considerably Karl. I talked to R. Jones about that since he just installed his Propex and left the full SS pipes, just "wrapping" them as needed to fit under the van. The pressure is right on target. My experience with mine is that once I've been using the heater while out on trips, it always starts first time. When I first open the propane line, like today, it often starts on the first cycle but on the 2nd try of that first cycle. When I travel and leave that propane tank "on", the Propex always starts on the first try. Look forward to seeing you on your swing thru this area. Happy travels & holidays.
