To reiterate, I WAS NOT suggesting that anyone use alcohol to warm up when chilled or worse. I thought I had already made clear what the medical position is. I was joking around with the fact that some people do drink alcohol under the circumstances that Don pointed out, and find it to be pleasant.

Please, do not give anyone alcohol when he or she is cold and you are thinking you are helping him warm up.
