thanks for the neato camper pic ..it looks very nice ... and syncro too ..(
HMMM drool )

the writer of this note seems to think safety was an after thought
clearly that writer did not view any of the you tube videos and he has not
had an incident involving the van ...
more to the point he seems to think the bumper is some sort of safety device
... (maybe he is a 1971 kinda guy ... )
the bumper has long ago been deemed decorative ...it is the structure under
neath that holds the crumple zone and even a not knowing much guy like me
can see that structure in the front of the van ...
i left a comment to kurt (the article writer)  to study up a little on the
vehicle ...

on a personal note as a writer ... the articles on that
Autoblog<http://www.autoblog.com/2010/11/21/report-vw-design-chief-says-new-microbus-is-in-the-cards/>site
are often half researched and although the words appear to be
grammatically correct at first glance...
the information is often incorrect or out of sync with reality (more
research would most often help the situation)
