Howdy!

I have a couple of issues with our 1991 Multivan that are causing me great
consternation...

Number 1. During very wet weather a pool of water develops on passenger side
floor mat near the door (waffle-type rubber mats). It flows/drips from
somewhere under the glove box area. The carpet sometimes gets damp,
depending on the amount of rain, but doesn't usually make it through to the
metal below. A friend has mentioned that it could be the seal around the
antenna. Any other thoughts?

Number 2. Upon start up, if I leave the van to warm it, the tachometer will
gradually creep up to 2500 RPMs. Usually a good revving will decrease the
RPMs, but if not warm, the car will take a while for this issue to resolve.
Once it is resolved, it idles perfectly (~950 RPMs). Any ideas other than
live with it?
