This "new" old 2.1 I am cleaning up for insertion in my 91 GL has yielded a big surprise and I wondered if any of my ex-colonial types north of the border might know
what the secret message reveals. The label tells me the following info.

I read that it is a reman engine done by VW of Canada - but does anyone know the secret info behind the last five digits?  Is this the date code?
