Hi Annie,
What sort of usage are you planning for the vehicle? Over a relatively
short term you may be better off using public transit or taxis if
available in your area.
Traveling as little as possible would probably be better for the
recuperation anyway. Stay home and send your daughter out for errands
where necessary and you may not need that taxi very often anyway.
You might be able to buy/borrow a side step for under the sliding door
to make it a bit easier to enter/exit that way.
