I used various sizes of close cell foam insulation tape like this (likely not same brand) *http://tinyurl.com/25kpvzg* * * *After 3 + years and ~ 30K miles, closing the main flap still shuts flow. Used same tape on my kustom foot heat flaps: http://sites.google.com/site/tubaneil2/HeaterFlapMod.jpg It's still present and has not deteriorated to my knowledge.
