That's what it says in the owner's manual -- flashing light for low pressure, also buzzer if above 2000 rpm. I haven't worked through the logic exhaustively, but the second sender has to close a circuit before 2000 rpm in order to keep the buzzer off. Below 2000 rpm it's the "regular" sender that has to open a circuit to keep the light from flashing. If the logic is fancy enough it could be that once the engine has gone over 2000 rpm a warning from the regular sender will trip the buzzer as well as the light, but it seems unlikely to me and that's not how the owner's manual describes it. It cannot be that such a thing could be triggered by the second sender, since it's normal for that sender to indicate a fault at low rpm even though there isn't one. Yrs, d |
