The only vehicles I've ever owned that having a problem was a surprise?....Nissan or Toyota..and my Ford pickup for about it's first couple of months..

.I am more surprised when I do a long trip without any problems at all...

But at least with my Vanagon, all problems are minor. I can fix most everything right along the highway or in some parking area in a few hours, usually with what I have along, or with help from the People on Vanagon List and UPS...I don't need a Cray supercomputer and a 12yr old to interpret the data to read my 'fault codes" and figure a way to 'defeat' some safety system or any of that...
