Over the top - no way!

I added up the cost of replacing the soon-to-be-leaking rubber bands, valves & guides etc, replacing the dangerous rubber fuel lines, replacing the exhaust (!) and came up with a figure remarkably similar to the cost of a professionally harvested engine and harness, Tom Shiels' harness prep, Outfront Motorsports adapter plate, flywheel and shortened oil pan & pickup, Small Car engine mount and Stainless Steel header.

I chose to replace the low-mileage clutch while it was open, and replaced the radiator and all the hoses while I was at it. I now have a super strong, super reliable Van that gets 10% better gas mileage at cruising speeds 20% higher than the old engine.

It didn't cost me money, its saving me money! ;)

I can supply dollar figures but they are on my PC at home - I'm cheating here at the store...
