I realize it has been discussed here before that the PZ lights made by Hella are specific to the lower grill extension. IIRC, someone even said Hella will not make them for anyone beside PZ.

Well, a curious thing happened today. I found a Jaguar 'foglight' which is supposed to be original optional equipment for the 86-91 XJ's that appears to fit the PZ housing. I Googled the item and found some pics online that indeed resemble the PZ driving lights but again identified as a foglight. The reflectors might be different but appears to fit in the hole of the PZ grill extensions.

Wondering if anyone has a Jag in the aforementioned model years which might have this sort of lights.

I seen to recall someone on this List who was looking to replicate the grill extensions with a modification to allow the acceptance of a more common Hella (or other comparable brand) lens. John Rodgers? Was that you?

TIA,

BenT Sent from my broken PZ lens
