Subject: Vanagon engine fire or mishap in Roanoke, Va
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII"

Happened across a sad sight yesterday on the way home in Roanoke, Va. I saw a vanagon westfalia that appeared to have had some sort of fire (probably fuel line related) on the side of an on ramp onto Route 220 south off of route 419. It was on the side of the road with a fire truck and five police cars around 5:30 on Thursday. It looked a lot like my buddy's 87 maroon westy. I even offered to replace those lines myself for him when I thought that I detected the smell of raw gas. Preaching to the choir, I know, but please everyone don't ignore those fuel lines. Does this van belong to anyone on the list? Anyone know what happened?
