Jarrett, I have installed these many times for customers and they are simple, quick to install and work great! They come with step by step instructions as well so there should be no problem installing them. Install takes an hour or less. You can even leave the old metal lines in place and just tie wrap these to them if you wish. I usually remove the lines up to the gas tank area and then you route the hose through the middle on top of the gas tank (there is a tunnel here that isn't used in the water cooled Vanagons) up to the rack. Pretty easy and simple. Let me know if you want to order this kit.

I saw that Ken over at Vanagain has a replacement hydraulic line set to replace the metal lines. Does anyone have any experience with line replacement with this (or other) hydraulic line products? I'd appreciate any advice that can be given, as I've never worked on the PS system in the van before. Sir Bentley offers only the vaguest of guidance, unfortunately. > > Thanks, > > Jarrett > 89 Westy, Oly
