That sorta depends on where you are. South Texas has slightly different tire requirements that the Upper Peninsula, ya know?

Either locale, a good place to start is Larry Chase's Vanagon tire guide: <http://www.roadhaus.com/tires/guideline.html> If West Coast, Peter at Van-Cafe is having a bit of a tire sale. I'm partial to Nokians.
