That's alright, I don't know what I want to be when I grow up either.


The scary part of getting older is all of the "older than me" folks I used
to go to for automotive and motorcycle help have died off. Now I'm the
expert amongst my small circle of local friends. Scary, real scary.

The cast iron on front wheel hubs rusts. The drums in back rust. The
calipers rust.


You can go out and get new ones of each and paint them, but experience
dictates that the same person in your life who thinks a toilet must be
spotless at all times could care less about a rusty front hub and does
not appreciate a painted one.


Learning that is The Sign of Maturity {ping sound!!}.


I still don't know what I want to do when I grow up, though. Maybe
become a Vanagon mechanic.
