I checked my radio, Pioneer DEH-P5000UB (has remote), here are the numbers:

power off, faceplate on, factory "crawling display" on - 144 mA power off, faceplate on, factory "crawling display" off - 83 mA (this is mode I use) power off, faceplate off - 9 mA power on, faceplate on, tuner selected, volume medium low (cd same result but for initial high draw at start) - 600 mA (aux. amp draw not measured)
