BZ And Now PZ ??? You Guys Got Me All Confused !!! ;o) CC ________________________________ From: Phil Zimmerman <philzimm1@SHAW.CA> To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM Sent: Sun, December 12, 2010 11:07:59 AM Subject: Re: Projektzwo driving light compatibility Thanks Todd, I'm well acquainted with the Projektzwo fog light system. They were a pretty-cool, albeit expensive, set of moderately effective lights. Their cost and no easily located replacement parts of the Proj...  that drove me to convert a lower SA grill, adding Hella Micro FF fog lights to the mix..... Outstanding light output from the Hella Micro FF clear lenses. You are darn intuitive to sleuth my posted photo and deduce what you were viewing was NOT a Projektzwo system. My reply to Ben was over his use of PZ (my initials).  Ben and I have had this banter before on the Vanagon list... Apologies if the rather cryptic  reply was misleading in anyway Todd. regards Phil Z.  (AKA - PZ) ----------------------------   On 2010-12-11, at 3:57 PM, Todd.Last wrote: > Except that does not look like the PZ fog light grill. > It looks like an SA lower grill that was adapted for lights. > The PZ fog lights are in a smooth plastic piece that fits over the ends of the >grill. > Clearly this grill has full-length fins. > > PZ Fog lights > http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?p=4373237 > SA lower grill > http://www.van-cafe.com/home/van/image.html?myid=226&artist=Headlights > > Note the difference in the lower grills. > > FYI - a Samba thread says Cibie Airport lenses may fit. > http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?p=4167964 > > Todd > '88 Westy > > On 12/3/2010 7:55 PM, Phil Zimmerman wrote: >> >> BenT >> Sent from my broken PZ lens >> --------------------------------- >> >> Gads Ben, >> I own PZ! >> >> Phil Z.
