Good method.  I've done it before and it works just as Zolly
says.  It would be ideal for our blower motors except that you can't
get the bearing out without disassembling the motor which requires
machine tools (or Dremel if you're patient) and either epoxy or a
welding machine to put back together.  On a Bosch motor the bearing
retaining spring is removable, so taking the brush end off would give
you access to both bearings.  On the Meyle motor the retaining spring
is rivet/welded in place, not so easy.  You'd have to take off both
ends, and Meyle *seriously* didn't have that in mind.
