Subject: Skinny's Inn in Alaska
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1; format=flowed

Volks,

My apology to all the list for having made a faux pas here with this post. It was 3 in the am, and I was no doubt NOT the brightest candle burning at that time of day. I should have at least waited until Friday. As for the subject - I thought nothing of it. I guess I am still a crass old Alaskan at heart and such titles and expressions are a part of everyday life up there. Ex: down here if it dies, breaks, quits - it's gone "belly up". In Alaska it's gone "t#t's up". Skinny's was - apparently still is - one of the more notable watering holes up in the interior, and a fun place for tourists from the Lower 48 to stop, turn red, gawk and guffaw after having their modesty shocked. And they have something to forever talk about when they get back home.

To our friendly moderators - I will say no more on this - and thanks for not handing me my hat.

John
