Subject: Bushings on Stabilizer bar.
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"

I need to replace a couple of the bushings on the stabilizer (anti-roll) bar in my '82 Vanagon.

I have the replacements and can see how to get two of them off but am worried about the two end ones. I know I have to remove the Stabilizer link, but it isn't apparent how the new rubber bush will go over the flared end of the stabilizer bar AND how the end of the Stabilizer bar will bit over the end plus bush. MY Bentley and Haynes don't really help here.

Has anyone any experience?

Thanks

Dave
