I've wondered about this while watching the discussion and others in the past. Wondering if using the same method used to put bicycle handlebar grips on would work? Mild solution of mostly water and a little concentrated dish soap. They twist right on but once the solution dries (I use a hair dryer to speed that up), they stick like all get out so put them on the way you want them 'cause they ain't comin' off for a long time.
