As far as scavenging headlight adjusters without breaking any, I'm sure my track record is as bad as anyone's. Recently, however, I did a set and didn't break a single one. This involved removing and piecing together, several adjusters. No rocket science here, but rather, a simple approach. So simple, but had I ever tried it or thought of it? Nope. Using a torch, get everything nice and warm (note, only warm, not hot.....flame impingement not advised,) add a little grease where plastic meets metal and gently extricate the plastic bits with needle nose pliers. Clean everything well, lube threads and work em back and forth, heat plastic and metal, add a little grease and install. Of course, this does not reverse their 20+ years, but might buy you a couple of years. While you have that driver's side headlight off, this is a good time to clean up the low speed radiator fan resistor connections. YMMV, of course. Miguel
