Subject: Installing new front shocks
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1

It's my second question of the day. I'm on a roll here.

I've got some new front shocks to replace the old worn out ones that make me feel like I'm on a rollercoaster when I go over a bump. I found a page ( http://volksweb.relitech.com/frshocks.htm ) that seems to describe it pretty well, but I wanted to see if anyone else had any input before I do it.

I've heard that you should replace the bolt holding it in place, but does anyone know the size of that bolt? I've also heard that there's a rubber bushing on the top that needs to be replaced, but my new shocks didn't come with anything.

And one last thing: when I manually compress one of these shocks, it doesn't automatically expand out again. Am I missing something, or is that ok? These are Sachs that I got from the Bus Depot.

Thanks for all the help, guys.
