If a belt starts squealing, it's too loose, too tight, or it needs to be replaced.

Belt dressing is addictive, once you apply it, you'll need to keep applying it all the time.

From personal experience, it's a waste of time and money. Just buy a new belt.

Hmm . . . I don't have any ideas on what to lube it with but I can say that mine seems to only squeak and squeal when it's not tight enough. Tightening the belt up did the trick when mine was doing that a few months ago.
