Check your switches, unplugged.

Column switch

As it sits: continuity from 56 to one of 56a or 56b; no other continuity from any terminal to any other. Full click and release: change between 56a and 56b, no other change. Partial pull: 30 to 56a (and to 56 depending on above). No other change.

Panel switch:

Off: no continuity any terminal to any other except 58b to 58 (panel dimmer) and 30-30. First click: either 30 terminal to 58, and 58b through the panel dimmer resistor. No other continuities. Second click: as above plus X terminal to 56 terminal. No other continuities.

Report results. If switches are ok we'll look at wires.

Yrs, d
