To those long haired list members, of which I suppose there are a few...... I have a solution.

I carry with me a (once) bright orange, very grease stained cheap "tossle Cap" hat that I use when doing mechanical work. Even just to check the oil, the first thing I do is put my hair up in the hat. I have alot of hair, and I like to keep it clean, so it is best to put it away before your hands get dirty! Why bright orange? Right after hunting season they are WILDLY cheap. I once bought a dozen for a dollar.

I keep it in the bus right under the rear cabinet so it's always near the engine bay. And, my coveralls fit inside of it if folded properly. I keep another hat in my toolbag. (Safety goggles as well!)

Grab some cheap hats. Getting stuff stuck in your hair sucks. Getting your hair stuck on stuff, even worse.

Long hair- getting donated soon probably. (6 years of growing it for donation!).
