I scored a set of 5 spoke alloy wheels off a 2001 Audi A6, with nearly new Michelin tires for cheap. Now, the et on these is 45, everything I read on Samba indicated I'd need spacers, anywhere from 8-15 mm. I just test for them on the Vanagon and they fit fine in the rear (longer studs will be required) and the fronts will have to have the centers machined a bit to fit. Rolling the stock wheel/tire next to them shows the height to be the same (these are 16" rims). I'm also trying to determine the weight rating on these rims as well from all the numbers stamped on the back. They say Ronal on them and are made in Germany. Any thoughts? Jeff
