Huh.  Back when I had one of those I was a lot better at reading maps
and there was never any discussion about emptying the toilet.  But
passing sandwiches and warmth at night and birdwatching and someone
to care about...well worth the seat space.  Well worth the whole van,
come to that.  And then some.
