Don where abouts near the Salton Sea? My wife and I were there in July and
the stench was pretty grim; not to mention the flies. Must have been a great
place in the 50's before the big agro-complexes sucked up all the water and
let it drain back contaminated with DDT, and other chemicals. We spent a
week in Palm Springs in a 40's era resort that was quiet and tranquil.
