Steve,
Mine is kind of erratic on the rear hatch lock also.  All the other
locks on the van work fine.  It often takes a lot of wiggling, moving
the key a little bit less than all the way in, etc.  Once it's in the
right place, it turns easily.  What is the proper way to clean and
lubricate the lock cylinder?
