Then I need an ORDER in which to rebuild (add) all the bits to the "new" engine before we install. The van will be on a lift. Peter, sorry I can't really help with your question. However, I want to congratulate you for your great good fortune at having a VoTech school that will work on your vehicle. The VoTech schools here (there are several in different communities) all have a policy of only working on recent model vehicles. They say it is a waste to train students on obsolete technology. Consequently, their cutoff age for the vehicle worked on is SIX YEARS OLD! Beyond that, they also have their curriculum organized into a series of vehicle components, so for a period of time they only do brakes, then they only do coolant systems, then only transmissions and so on (the order of my listing is meant to be by example, not literal).

All that said, if the instructor is not waterboxer experienced and competent, I don't know if I would have the work done there. Just my thoughts on the matter.
