That reminded me of this strange accident from my youth, which has remained in my memory for some reason. Terrible long link that I can't get to shorten, sorry. amazing that item can be found at all on the interwebs. You can "scroll" up and see the photo of the accident.

It involved 2 vehicles, one a VW, the other a rental moving truck, killed one and injured 64.
