Happy 2011 to all, and may your Vanagons all run beautifully throughout the year, requiring just enough troubleshooting and maintenance work to keep those who want it happy!

I am always grateful for any wish of happiness from whatever source. What better gift could anyone bestow on a fellow traveler in this world? The specific form of the wish shouldn't matter, and certainly doesn't to me. Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, Felice Navidad, Happy Hannakuh, Happy New Year, whatever. It makes me feel good that someone thought, even if only a little bit, to wish me good cheer. Though I am not a Christian, I do enjoy a good time, so if someone wants to say Merry Christmas, great. If another greeting, that's great, too.

Happy Monday to everyone!
