Wow very bold of you to let these kids get a great experience like that. I second the Bentley; especially if they are going to be doing the rebuild as well. All vehicles manual will teach you how to do things step by step, the order is not necessarily fixed in stone. Experience and knowledge will let you use the book as a guidelines and find shortcuts. But first time around you need to follow the book is what I have found. If anything these kids will need to learn to to read manuals as well as work on the vehicle. So this will be a truely great learning experience for them. I know when I was in Auto shop in High School are teacher did not help out that much, made is look in the books on how to do things only if we got in serious trouble woul dhe help out, some thought he was a hard a$$ I thought he was a great practical teacher and my favorite.
