I'm in western Washington state, it's 45 degrees out and raining, 0.4" so far and it was time for me to wash the top on my Westy. The only time I look at the top of my Westy is when I'm camping and the pop-top is up, then I see it's really dirty and there is even a green-brown line that lives behind the awning attached to the pass side. I'm going to BBTB at Lake Havasu, leaving tomorrow and I'd been telling myself that I would take care of the top, so I did it today. Far from perfect but a lot better than it was.

So there I am on a step ladder leaned against my van in the pouring down rain with a car brush, a bucket and an old kitchen sponge that has a worn abrasive side. It looks better.... That part is done! I was unable to get the #$%& refrigerator to light, it's now an ice box. Gotta start saving for the electric refrigerator Change the oil tomorrow and put the awning back on and toss in my clothes and off we go (3k mile r/t). My 'goal' is to arrive in Lake Havasu Thurs afternoon... At least the top of my Westy is clean <g>.
