Ah.

Well it may be that the tank is slightly different at that valley. <shrugs>

The cooling pipes were installed prior to tank during air to water cooled swap so the clamps may not be *exactly* located as per stock. Removing cooling pipe clamps up front helped the tank seat higher up. This helped a *little* to align the fill hole. Like the grommet ID is visible above hole in frame. Fill pipe still isn't "100%" though this adjustment may be enough. We'll see. I'll put in the stock parts for now, but will swap in the later MY filler pipe soon.

FWIW, the 70mm to 50mm upgrade looks like it can be done with 70mm tank in place if one is patient and maintains cleanliness. (fill hole grommet R&R)
