Here is a link the the upcoming Camping Car show in Japan. There are a number of ideas that can be done to improve the usability of a Westy. Many pictures of different styles show up on the TOWA site. Here is my favorite company: http://catalog.vs-mikami.com/ Very small, 660cc motor, two people, prepare food on your knees, 45 to 60 mpg, 70mph top speed, very efficient interior layout. VWs are popular in Japan. Met a few owners of Vanagon Westys there. Many of the layouts of the camping cars are similar to the Westy. One difference is the number of compartments they have in the Japanese campers. I believe that these are a worthwhile change to the standard Westy. Scot |
