Jeff Stewart

When I sold my 2004 Honda Element, I kept getting pestered by a guy who said he was trying "to help a friend in need" who didn't have much money, and therefore could not afford my (very fair) asking price. He kept offering me about 2K less. Now, not to be mean, but I am not running a charity, and I see no reason to cut my price 2K just to help out his "friend". When he finally did come look at the Honda, he handed me his business card. He owned a used car lot! Helping a friend my ***!!! It gave me great satisfaction to tell him a couple of weeks later (he kept calling me every 2 days with the same low ball offer) that I had sold it for full price. When I sold Bay window Westys my favorite question I was always asked was "Will it make it to California?" Jeff

Oh good grief!

*"The buyer doesn't know if you are a reseller of one vehicle after another that you grab up from wherever you can get them, and try to flip them as soon as possible, or someone who is selling his old, beloved, and well cared for honey bucket."*
