Subject: van sputters, dies at idle, doesnt turn back on
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Hey folks,

Was driving the van around a few days ago, when I accelerated and shifted into different gears the van would buck and sputter a little bit. It felt like it was lacking power or not getting enough fuel. When we got to a light the van died at idle and would not turn on for about a minute. Got thru the light and stopped in a lot to take a look, see if anything obvious had gone on as to the problem. When we got in the van to go home it would not start, but it would pop start if pushed or going down hill. The tank has gas in it, the battery has charge. I don't know whats going on. I was planning to list it for sale this weekend but with issue I feel like I'll have to post pone that. No one wants to buy a broken jalopy. I'm also unaware of any VW mechanics in my area.

Thanks,

Sam Fayetteville, AR 1982 Vanagon GL
