Jerry, I don't know if it is the best but we have used a Thetford for 15 years without any problem. We usually take long trips and after each trip, I clean it thoroughly and apply a little Waterlube to the rubber seals. Waterlube is something I had around after having to buy some to lube a seal on a spa and it seems to work fine in this application..
